In April, 2007 the DOE Office of Science organized a workshop
to bring together a small number of experts who to work with the ESnet team
to examine the current roadmap, roadmaps of similar enterprises, user requirements,
and new technology options. The objective of the workshop was to create a
new, multi-year roadmap for ESnet that identifies milestones and partners.
