Desktop data conferencing allows participants to interact with each other sharing pictures, drawings, documents and applications. ESnet selects commerical products which will meet the needs of our customers. Presently, we have tested a PictureTalk data conferencing server for our communities usage. This collaboration tool is available in our telepresence testbed toolkit.
One example of planned integration of our collaboration tools will soon be demonstrated in DCS. The DCS scheduler will also be able to reserve data conferencing provided by our PictureTalk server.
